OAISD Georgetown YAS
The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD) serves students from Pre-K through adulthood while providing essential resources and support to local school districts. Through strong partnerships with schools, businesses, community organizations, and other ISDs, OAISD delivers innovative programs and services that expand opportunities for students and strengthen education throughout the region.
Project Solution
The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District repurposed a 12,990 SF former drugstore into a welcoming, purpose-built facility serving young adults with special needs. The renovated space supports students ages 18–26 through personalized education, hands-on job training, daily living skills, and community-based learning, providing real-world experiences that help build confidence and greater independence as they transition into adulthood.
