Saugatuck Middle-High School

Saugatuck Public Schools’ facilities include Douglas Elementary School, originally built in the 1950s with expansions in the 1960s and 2008. The Bond renovation was completed in 2022. The district also has a Middle/High School, constructed in the mid-1970s and updated with an addition and renovation in 2002. Both buildings were in need of modernization.

The Middle-High School building required comprehensive renovations across all spaces. We began by adding a new band room, then moved through the school, updating finishes, enhancing security with a new entry and main office, and raising the roof to create a new media/commons area. The exterior also received a facelift, introducing more natural light, while the parking lots and driveways were repaved for a refreshed look.
