Village of Spring Lake – Tanglefoot Park

Village of Spring Lake – Tanglefoot Park

Tanglefoot Park holds a rich history, as the land was generously gifted to the Village by the Thum family during the early 1900s. The Thum family’s prosperity stemmed from their renowned company, Tanglefoot Flypaper. Now, thanks to the collective efforts of local residents and numerous grants, this ambitious multi-year, multi-million dollar project has become a reality, transforming the park into a cherished community asset.

Faced with some budget constraints, GDK worked closely with the City and the design team to figure out ways to maintain the use, functionality, and appearance of the building and still reduce the overall cost of construction to meet the budget that had been set aside to fund the project.
