Calvin Football Stadium – Phase 1

The new Calvin University football program is in the exciting early stages of establishing a full on-campus football experience, with its varsity team now in its second season and growing rapidly in student involvement and school spirit.

As part of Phase 1 of the new stadium project, Calvin has installed a lighted AstroTurf practice field, lined for both football and men’s and women’s lacrosse, complete with LED lighting, backstop netting, scoreboard/play clocks, and branded field signage. This turf field currently serves as the primary practice surface for the Knights and supports the expansion of the athletics program, while home football games for the 2025 season are being held in the nearby soccer stadium until future phases—like seating, press box, and full fan amenities—are funded and constructed.
